Wasting My Young Years ~ London Grammar

London Grammar is one of those new bands I accidentally discovered recently on one of my You Tube trips!  I love Hannah Reid’s haunting voice, and I’m looking forward to see what they come up with next.  Here’s a live version of this song.  If you want to hear more of their music visit their You Tube or SoundCloud page, also Wikipedia or their website. .

    1. Good to hear you liked them! That’s a very laid back version of ‘In For The Kill’, nice and relaxing. I’d love to hear a blues version of that song, I think it would suit what it’s about very well. 🙂

    1. Good to hear that Karen! Music moves very fast in this internet world, it’s great to be able to Google a band or a singers name, and there’s all the music. Terrible to think of all that wasted time listening to music tracks on the radio as a teenager, just praying something I wanted to hear would be played. It’s so time saving now! 🙂

  1. I’ve never heard this song before, I like it!! Her voice is very different. I finally noticed the figure of the man coming closer to the screen as it appears that he is walking. It reveals more of the clear background. Cool effects!! I’d definitely purchase this song!!

    1. It’s an unusual video for sure, I can’t make out if that’s London or not in the background. A lot of new tall buildings in London now, it’s getting closer to looking like a US city every year – confusing me! Yes it’s a different kind of voice, kind of deep, but then surprises you by rising up. London Grammar have quite a sad sound overall, but sometimes I’m in the mood for that. I find it good for writing – a melancholy mood! 😉 Then I’ll put some loud stuff on, and undo it all!! 😀

      1. Lol, I liked her voice. Though I did detect the melancholy. Also, I agree, music will give you inspiration. Lol, it truly does affect your mood. Also, I bet London is awfully pretty. Makes me want to google pictures of London To See Its Beauty!!!
