Shining Stars

We are all in the gutter

.

.

Today you may feel you’ve lost your sparkle, as if you are worth nothing, or you never will be.  As though your very being may not exist.  But tomorrow is a new day, the perfect opportunity to find you are able to shine.  To tell the accusing voices to hold their noise, to keep their opinions to themselves.  Because as long as you are alive – you have the right to prove your history wrong.

Just because you can’t always see the stars in the sky, doesn’t mean they have disappeared.  Just because you haven’t written your book, painted that picture, found your soul mate or discovered the place in this world that is right for you – doesn’t mean you never will.

The stars are always present, the sun will be certain to rise by morning.  And tomorrow is surely your day – to create the evidence you can really shine.”

Today is the beginning of a new history!

    1. The words are good, but the music is a little repetitive, not my favourite music myself. I really wanted to share a video with stars and something floaty, but I didn’t find anything I liked. 😦 So you got stuck with this one! 😆

Maybe you’ll like the next one on Monday. Subject: Relationship >poem/related ‘quirky’ music video! 😀

  1. A very hopeful outlook, Suzy. It also reminds me of Vivien Leigh’s words as Scarlett O’Hara in “Gone With the Wind”: “Tara! Home! I’ll go home, and I’ll think of some way to get him back. After all, tomorrow is another day.” That’s an optimistic way to view what is to be. 😉

    1. Ah, thanks for fishing out one of my old posts Judy! 🙂 That’s a great example, and it’s the only way to think while alive and breathing, because without that optimism we probably wouldn’t even manage to get out of bed in the morning! 😀
